Community Shared Agriculture is the best step in shortening the food system supply chain!

What is the share all about?

As a CSA shareholder, you buy into the season’s harvest at the beginning of the growing season. This helps the farmer finance the early spring seeding/planting when intense input costs and physical labor are required to kick start the growing season. As a CSA shareholder, you also agree to the risks the grower faces throughout the season, but you also share in the bounty when harvests are plenty. In return for your affordable investment, you receive a weekly harvest box, full of high-quality, in-season produce.

This CSA system makes it possible for folks to enjoy the β€œfield to table” opportunity, as well as creating a close relationship between the shareholder and the local grower, where you learn where and how your food is grown.
